Why Parley?

...in fact, today's millionaire looks remarkably... unremarkable. Most are men who attended public schools and inherited nothing. He's self-employed or a partner in a blue-collar business like air conditioning or plumbing, with a net worth between $1 million and $5 million. The typical millionaire has been married since his early to mid twenty's.
They have 3 children and live in a home valued at $278,000. They drive a 3-year-old car. And more so than not...it's an F150 Ford pick-up truck.

Being a millionaire comes from being frugal and living a lifestyle of control. The typical millionaire  buys stocks and hangs onto them. When these people go to the store, they are prepared with a list and coupons. So many of us just wander around with no direction but not millionaires.  Millionaires are not impulsive. The millionaires are disciplined. In fact upwards of 85% of millionaire households clip coupons.

So why aren't more people wealthy if these are the most important qualifications of becoming a "Millionaire Next Door? Could it be that they have chosen to trade wealth for acquiring high-status material possessions? Short term gain for long term pain. Things that make you go ..."hmmm".
